What’s the difference between the Model No. 1 and Model No. 2 Benders? The No. 1 Bender is a smaller version of the No. 2 Bender. The main difference is capacity. The No. 1 is a great machine with less capacity (bends Pipe up to 1-1/4″) and less available tooling than the No 2. Both benders are made from the same heat-treated steel and their dies from cast iron. Both machines will stand years of wear and tear. Choose the bender that fits your needs and budget.
Are parts for the No. 1 and No. 2 Benders interchangeable? No. The hole spacings in the main and swinging frames are different, and pin sizes are different.
Can I bend Flat or Bar stock with the Tube Bender? No. The Tube and Pipe Bender comes with a standard set of pins to fit only our 180º or Feed-Along Round Tube, Square Tube, or Pipe Dies. However by purchasing additional pins, blocks, etc., you can use any of our range of dies for bending additional stock.
